Mi Cloud backup problem- wifi not connected / turn wifi on / can't sync error in mi cloud backup

As many of us have been facing the problem about backup to mi cloud. You can see in the images, in some cases it saying wifi not connected / turn wifi on / can't sync error.
           

   



This problem is may be due to the wifi connection you are using. To overcome this problem, you can follow the steps below:

  • First check your wifi connection. Make sure that you are connected to the internet.
  •  If it doesnot work, then reset your router and try it again.
  • If you are using a mobile hotspot then make sure that you have unchecked the Mobile hotspots option in the network details.

    It doesn't backs up with Hotspot and not even backing up with mobile data. It's just asking for WiFi to backup and restore the data. Please provide any solution if you have.

      It will not backup with mobile data. But it can be backup by using mobile hotspot. For that you have to unchek the mobile hotspot option from the wifi connection setiing as shown above.

    Official official is the name of the WiFi and to get to this is easy just open WiFi in settings and click the right arrow to go to a particular WiFi's detailed settings and voila youre there

      I have done that but i didn't saw mobile hotspot option as per your screen shot.pls help. Unable to take backup via hotspot and it's hard to get WiFi in my locality.

    Hi, I have sync all my data but forgot to create a backup. Now after formatting I'm not able to restore .the data is available on cloud but no option to restore messages and notes. Could some1 help
